Jacaranda Kids seeks to provide children living in the slums of Nairobi with educational and spiritual opportunity. Our hope is to see the miracle of transformation in a new generation that will break the cycle of poverty and hopelessness. 

Jacaranda Kids started when the Kean family reached out to friends to help them sponsor four boys. After Jacaranda Creations began, 17 more children were sponsored and affectionately called “Jacaranda Kids.”

The overwhelming need to reach more children resulted in formation of a US, Canada and Kenya team to oversee all aspects of the Jacaranda Kids program, which is caring for children in some of the poorest slum communities in the city. Our team visits the homes and schools of the children and attends to their needs holistically.
